Mickey Centerpieces

I found this cute idea on Pintrest from indulgy.com and decided to try it out for my upcoming #DisneySide @Home Celebration.   It was quite easy to do and didn’t cost very much.

The supplies:

  • 6 large styrofoam balls
  • 12 small styrofoam balls
  • black spray paint
  • bamboo skewers
  • toothpicks
  • floral arranger
  • decorative straw
  • flower vases

I spray painted the styrofoam balls (outside) and let them dry overnight. Then it was time to assemble.

I inserted toothpicks into the small balls and used those to attach to the large ball.  Then I attached the Mickey head to a bamboo skewer.

Next, I put the floral arranger into the vase and covered it with decorative straw.  Then I cut the length of the bamboos to fit the height for the arrangement.  I inserted the skewers and finish covering.

A simple and cute DIY project for any Disney celebration.
